PSA Project Review
I think I am satisfied with our PSA in Audacity because most of the voices in the PSA were clear and easy to hear. I enjoyed listening to it over and over again. In our PSA we warned and informed our audience about our "Mosquito Plague" issue. Some new skills in I learned in the Audacity was the voice effects, how to put on the background music, and embeding it onto our blog. I think that these skills helped me by using this information in the future, like in high school, when I have to to do a big project. It was surprising when my project partners chose the mosquito problem because we didnt go over it, they just went with it, and I didn't really know what was going on, but otherwise, the plan went really well. I used my script a lot when it was my turn to record. Me and Kelly kept changing characters and the script and so we had to change the running order a lot as well. I think our project was great. Not all of our partners had equal jobs, like Alvan did a lot of editing for our PSA but Rex didn't really have much to do. I think the volume of the Audacity was even, clear, and kind of funny. The problem was that there wasn't enough sound effects and background music. What I could change about our project was to maybe switch the PSA into a commercial. Otherwise it would have been a lot funnier because I think I had a unique and artistic group. I know that I really did a good job because last year, I tried doing a commercial on Audacity and it went horribly. Something I'm not proud of in the PSA is how funny we made it. If we wanted it to be funny, we could of made the problem fictional, like the space monkey PSA that Mr. Michael showed us. But this is an actual problem we have in school, so if we tried to make the PSA funny (which we did) the audience might not get serious over the problem and laugh.
